Exclusive video: Eli Roth talks “AFTERSHOCK,” plus “GREEN INFERNO” (and dating tips)

Eli Roth is a triple threat in the new disaster/horror opus AFTERSHOCK, having served as a writer and producer as well as playing a lead role. He spoke with Fango for an exclusive video interview about the Chile-shot film and more that you can watch past the jump.

Opening in theaters tomorrow, March 10 from Radius-TWC, AFTERSHOCK was directed by Nicolás López and stars Roth as an American tourist known only as “Gringo,” who is partying with his friends on the Chilean nightclub scene when a massive earthquake (based on the real-life disaster that struck the country in 2010) turns the country into a living hell of looters, rapists and worse. In our chat, shot by Vivienne Vaughn, Roth talks about his collaboration with López, filming in a foreign land, his follow-up cannibal shocker THE GREEN INFERNO…and how to avoid his AFTERSHOCK character’s dating problems. You can read more about AFTERSHOCK in Fango #323, on sale now. (Thanks to Bill Hall)
