Exclusive trailer: a car full of killer clowns in “CIRCUS OF THE DEAD”

The CIRCUS OF THE DEAD is bringing a big top of terror to a Texas town, and we’ve got the exclusive first look at the new trailer for the bloody evil-clown flick.

The preview provides a peek at the healthy splatter served up by CIRCUS OF THE DEAD, which Billy Pon directed and also scripted with Lee Ankrum. Bill Oberst Jr., Parrish Randall, Chanel Ryan, Roger Edwards, Brad Potts, Ryan Clapp, Rusty Edwards and Mike Williams star, with Marcus Koch and Matthew Ash responsible for the gore and other makeup FX. The synopsis: “Family man Don’s visit to an old, rundown big top circus and chance encounter with a nihilistic group of clowns leaves him fighting for his life and the lives of those he loves. As Don becomes drawn deeper into lead clown Papa Corn’s games, he comes closer to the edge of reason and sanity. Armed with guns, knives and a ’68 Camaro, the clowns lead Don on an all-night crime spree through oil-soaked West Texas. Papa Corn’s wild ride brings blood, gore and mayhem to all he encounters.”

CIRCUS OF THE DEAD will be the opening movie on Saturday and Sunday at Texas Frightmare Weekend, which takes place May 2-4 in Dallas. Go here to see some exclusive pics, check out the new GOREZONE #31 (available here) for a set report, and visit the movie’s Facebook page for more.
