Exclusive: The Dude Designs poster for “DARK WAS THE NIGHT”


When The Dude Designs, the results are often pretty creepy, and such is the case with the ominous poster the artist (a.k.a. Tom Hodge) has come up with this month’s monster movie DARK WAS THE NIGHT. Get the exclusive first peek after the jump.

DARK WAS THE NIGHT, which hits select theaters and VOD from Image Entertainment next Friday, July 24, was directed by Jack Heller of ENTER NOWHERE from a Black List script by Tyler Hisel. THE STRAIN’s Kevin Durand stars as Paul Shields, a small-town sheriff struggling with personal demons who confronts a real one when a rapacious creature begins plaguing his small town. MARS ATTACKS!’ Lukas Haas, Bianca Kajlich, Heath Freeman and STAKE LAND’s Nick Damici co-star; the physical creature suit was constructed by the Oscar-winning FX wizards at Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc.
