Exclusive Stills, Release Info: Dylan Greenberg’s “AMITYVILLE: VANISHING POINT”

Last year, FANGORIA reported on DARK PRISM, offering the first word and clip on the upcoming surrealist horror offering from 18-year-old director Dylan Greenberg. And while that film is still on the way, Greenberg has already completed her sophomore feature, AMITYVILLE: VANISHING POINT, which promises to be an intense twist on the Amityville legend, and FANGORIA has the first official stills and information on the horror flick below!

Unrelated to AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING, here’s the official synopsis for AMITYVILLE: VANISHING POINT…

Two close knit young women living in an Amityville boarding house with their eccentric caretaker and an esoteric younger sibling experience the loss of their best friend, Margaret. An odd, cowboy hat-clad detective is sent to investigate but gets more than he bargained for when his motives are called into question by the paranoid inhabitants of the house. As tensions run high, the girls start to suspect that perhaps, their friend isn’t as dead as they believed and the house itself may be turning on them. This new portrayal of the Amityville legend is based on true events and provides a side of Amityville never seen before.

Starring 4:44: LAST DAY ON EARTH star Selena Mars, Amanda Flowers, Sara Kaiser, Mickala McFarlane, Jurgen Azael Munster (of The Slut Junkies) as well as featuring special appearances by Troma all-stars Catie Corcoran, Zac Amico and Lloyd Kaufman, AMITYVILLE: VANISHING POINT hits Amazon Instant Video on April 1st. You can check out the first stills from the film in the gallery below (with all pictures credited to Moth Dust Photography), and stay tuned for more on the film here at FANGORIA.com!
