Exclusive Short Premiere: Italian Revenge Thriller “ANGELIKA”

There’s something very refreshing in seeing a genre project come out of Italy these days. While international horror has certainly began to deliver on a much bigger scale than ever before, the country that gave us such wonderful filmmakers such as Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Mario Bava has been sadly more quiet than expected on the genre forefront. Yet, with such scarcity comes a greater appreciation for the work that makes it out of the country, and today, FANGORIA is proud to present an Italian horror short worthy of your time: Federico Greco’s ANGELIKA!

Hardcore horror fans may know Greco from his 2005 Lovecraftian horror mockdoc ROAD TO L., and now he returns with something a little more human but equally as brutal. ANGELIKA stars another familiar face of Italian contemporary horror: Crisula Stafida, who you may recognize from Federico Zampaglione’s TULPA. And for those wondering: Yes, there are English subtitles for the video. So without further ado, buckle up and enjoy ANGELIKA in all of it’s Italian glory below!

Special thanks to FANGORIA Contributor Roberto D’Onofrio.
