Exclusive Poster: Wartime Horror in “NEITHER HEAVEN NOR EARTH”Movies/TV,News Ken W. Hanley
Earlier this year, FANGORIA brought in the first word on NEITHER HEAVEN NOR EARTH, the existential terror title that brings a supernatural spin on the horrors of war. Now, with the film’s New York opening only a month away, FANGORIA has the exclusive first look at the fright film’s inaugural poster!
Directed by Clément Cogitore, here’s the official synopsis for NEITHER HEAVEN NOR EARTH…
In Afghanistan in 2014, as the troop-withdrawal approaches, French Army Captain Antarès Bonassieu (Jérémie Renier) and his squad are assigned to monitor a remote valley of Wakhan, Afghanistan, on the border of Pakistan. Despite their determination, control of the secluded valley will slowly fall out of their hands. Negotiating control of the region between local shepherds and possible Taliban sympathizers grows more and more tenuous for them, as men from all sides start mysteriously disappearing. Unable to explain this eerie phenomenon, the soldiers find themselves embroiled in an existential nightmare, desperate for their own safety.
Opening at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on August 5th courtesy of FilmMovement, you can find more information on NEITHER HEAVEN NOR EARTH at the film’s official site page HERE.
