Exclusive photos, poster, trailer, Blu-ray/DVD news: “PIG GIRL” don’t cry

PIGGIRLEXCPICSDISCFEAT

Following her appearance in the final installment of the PORKCHOP trilogy, the porking crazy daughter of the pig-masked killer has her own solo slasher flick. We’ve got full details of the movie’s disc release, the NSFW trailer and a couple of exclusive pics and the poster to share.

Razor Sharp Studios and Gibson Entertainment have unleashed PIG GIRL on Blu-ray and DVD, and writer/director Eamon Hardiman, who helmed the previous PORKCHOP movies, sent along the pics below of Wren (Kim Watts) being traumatized by Pig Girl (Missy Dawn, who also produced). The story follows Casey (Elvis McComas) on a weekend trip of familial bonding with his new stepfather Roy (Kennie Bass), only for them to stumble into the human-hunting ground of Pig Girl (previously seen in PORKCHOP 3D). This homage to golden-age stalker fare comes with a behind-the-scenes documentary and commentary by Hardiman, Dawn, McComas and co-stars Stephen Hensley, Lora Wilkerson, Scott Gregg and Alyson Meadows; plus, all discs ordered through Amazon.com (links follow) are autographed by Hardiman and Dawn. Retail prices are $10.99 for the DVD, $13.99 for the Blu-ray.

So glad Fangoria is covering low-budget indie stuff! Congrats to anyone who has the motivation and courage to see a movie through to completion. We should support the indies, otherwise we’re stuck with PG-13 horror starring a CW cast.
