Exclusive: Lots of red in new “THE REDWOOD MASSACRE” trailer

There’s spurting blood aplenty when a masked psychopath goes on a rampage in THE REDWOOD MASSACRE, coming to video next month. Jump past the jump for a grisly exclusive trailer.

Chopping its way onto DVD and VOD July 7 from Uncork’d Entertaiment, THE REDWOOD MASSACRE won awards at last year’s Chicago Horror Film Festival for Best Feature Film and for David Ryan Keith as Best Director and Best Writer. Mark Wood, Lisa Cameron, Lisa Livingstone, Rebecca Wilkie and Alec Westwood star in this British chiller, which is synopsized thusly: “For five adventurous friends, visiting the legendary murder site of the Redwood House has all the hallmarks of being an exciting and thrilling camping weekend away. A popular site for revelers and partygoers, each year on the exact date of the famous local family massacre, people from around the country head out to the site to have fun and scare each other. Events take a bloody turn for the worse when the innocent campers discover the Redwood legend is in fact a horrible, bloody reality, which turns the unsuspecting victims into prey for a mysterious ax-wielding maniac who has remained dormant for 20 years.”

The DVD includes a making-of video; visit THE REDWOOD MASSACRE at its official website and Facebook page.
