Exclusive: full “NEKROMANTIK 2” Blu-ray/DVDetails and art


Following up on its release of Jörg Buttgereit’s original NEKROMANTIK (see review here), Cult Epics sent along the full details of its upcoming discs of the sequel, once again packed with extras, along with the cover art.

NEKROMANTIK 2 will see its Blu-ray debut and a new DVD February 10, featuring a new hi-def transfer from the original 16mm negative approved by Buttgereit. Monika M. stars as a necrophiliac nurse who steals fresh corpses from cemeteries to satisfy her particular lust, and falls in love with a young man (Mark Reeder) who dubs porno films. The first 5,000 Blu-rays and 2,000 DVDs will include new collectible NEKROMANTIK 2 artwork by Johnny Ryan and a necrophilia/gore photo of Monika M. The special features are:

• Audio commentary by Buttgereit, co-writer Franz Rodenkirchen and actors Monika M. and Reeder

Retail prices are $34.95 for the Blu-ray, $29.95 for the DVD.
