Exclusive Clip: Creature Concerns in Bryan Bertino’s “THE MONSTER”

Ever since THE STRANGERS shook up the world of horror eight years ago, fright fans have kept a keen eye on filmmaker Bryan Bertino. However, after the divisive found-footage BH Tilt effort MOCKINGBIRD and his frequent flirtation with THE STRANGERS 2, the wait for Bertino to offer up another emotionally grueling horror offering has been unfortunately longer than anticipated. However, that wait is now over, as Bertino is back with THE MONSTER, a tale of love, heartbreak, sacrifice, and a massive, man-eating monster. And for those looking for a sneak peek at THE MONSTER, FANGORIA is excited to unveil an exclusive clip from the film, which you can see below!

For those unfamiliar, here’s the official synopsis for THE MONSTER…

A divorced mother and her headstrong daughter must make an emergency late night road trip to see the girl’s father. As they drive through deserted country roads on a stormy night, they suddenly have a startling collision that leaves them shaken – but not seriously hurt. Their car, however, is dead.  As they try in vain to get help, they come to realize they are not alone on these desolate backroads — a terrifying evil is lurking in the surrounding woods, intent on never letting them leave. A chilling and tension-filled experience, THE MONSTER pits 2 ferociously strong women against one of the scariest and most shocking monsters. It will be a battle no one will forget.

Starring Zoe Kazan, Ella Ballentine, and Scott Speedman, Bryan Bertino’s THE MONSTER (featuring FX from Amalgamated Dynamics Inc.)  is now available exclusively via DirecTV and will hit theaters and on demand from A24 Films on November 11th. Stay tuned for more on THE MONSTER here at FANGORIA.com!
