Synapse releases Gary Jones’ 1995 creature feature MOSQUITO and a special edition of Harold P. Warren’s MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE (pictured above) on Blu-ray and DVD October 13. MOSQUITO, in which the titular pests become gigantic after drinking blood from the dead crew of a crashed alien spaceship, will be presented in anamorphic 1.78:1 widescreen with the following extras:

• Audio commentary by director/co-writer Gary Jones, director of photography/co-writer Tom Chaney and producer David Thiry
• “Bugging Out!—The Making of MOSQUITO,” an all-new documentary featuring interviews with Jones, Chaney, Thiry, stars Hansen, Tim Lovelace, Rachel Loiselle, Mike Hard and Josh Becker, and more
• Deleted/extended scenes with optional commentary by Jones
• Behind-the-scenes footage with optional commentary by Jones
• Still gallery
• Theatrical trailer
• Reversible cover art by Nathan Thomas Milliner

The MANOS discs will feature an all-new 2K restoration of the cult-classic Texas schlocker and MST3K/RiffTrax favorite, accompanied by these extras:

• “Restoring the Hands of Fate” featurette
