Exclusive: Big batch of photos from “FOUND” follow-up “HEADLESS”; premiere news

,

Scott Schirmer’s horrific coming-of-age film FOUND was one of the breakout hits on the recent independent scene, and now its spinoff movie HEADLESS is heading for a pair of premiere dates. We’ve got a whole bunch of exclusive, freaky preview pics to show you!

HEADLESS is a feature-length expansion of the FOUND scenes from an invented slasher flick that is viewed on VHS by two of the young characters. Director Arthur Cullipher and writer Nathan Erdel created HEADLESS to resemble “a lost slasher film from 1978,” adding both psychological and psychedelic elements as well as a backstory for the machete-wielding villain, once again played by Shane Beasley. According to the official synopsis, this masked madman “wages an unrelenting spree of murder, cannibalism and necrophilia, but when his tortured past comes back to haunt him, he plunges to even greater depths of madness and depravity, consuming the lives of a young woman and those she holds dear.”

Kelsey Carlisle, Ellie Church, Dave Parker, Kaden Miller, Jennifer Lee, Haley Madison and Brian Williams also star in HEADLESS, which was produced by Schirmer and Kara Erdel. The premiere screenings will take place Saturday, February 28 during the Culture Shock convention at the Wyndham Indianapolis West in Indianapolis, IN, and Sunday, March 1 at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theatre in Bloomington, IN. Both showings will feature appearances by members of the cast and crew. See HEADLESS’ trailer below the photos, and visit the Facebook page here.
