Win an “ENEMY” Poster, Signed by Denis Villenueve

Enemyfeat

Denis Villenueve’s enigmatic ENEMY sure is something. A surreal journey of doppelgangers, spiders and encroaching anxiety, the film has been boggling audiences; minds in select cities this month. In anticipation of an even wider expansion this Friday, March 28 and the true freaky feeling you’ll feel upon film’s end, A24 Films and FANGORIA are giving away a special poster signed by writer-director Villenueve.

ENEMY tells the story of “a university lecturer named Adam (Gyllenhaal) who is nearing the end of a relationship with his girlfriend Mary (Laurent). One night, while watching a film, Adam spots a minor actor who looks just like him. Consumed by the desire to meet his double, Adam tracks down Anthony, an actor living with his pregnant wife Helen (Gadon) and engages him in a complex and dangerous struggle. The film is a haunting and provocative psychosexual thriller about duality and identity, where in the end only one man will survive.”

ENEMY is truly all sorts of weird, never pushing for an easy, “here’s what really happened.” Instead, it’s an eerie piece of work with a final image you’ll likely not forget. The film expands to a slate of theaters this weekend (including the lovely Pelham Picture House in Pelham, NY!). If you’ve seen, or plan to see and would like to win the below poster with Denis Villenueve’s signature, please email Sam@Fangoria.com with “ENEMY” in the subject and tell me the quote from Jose Saramago’s novel”The Double” that opens the film.
