Edgar Wright’s “THE WORLD’S END” moved up to August

Originally scheduled for October, the U.S. will now get the eagerly-awaited latest Cornetto film from Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost late this summer.
In THE WORLD’S END, Pegg reteams with director Edgar Wright and co-star Nick Frost (SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ) to play Gary King, a man who reunites his best friends for an epic pub crawl they attempted 20 years prior. As you may imagine, the relationships and massive amounts of drink aren’t the only obstacles Gary, Oliver (Martin Freeman), Steven (Paddy Considine), Andy (Nick Frost) and Peter (Eddie Marsan) will face. A previous still certainly conjured something otherworldly, while the title holds high stakes (whether it’s literal, or just reaching the titular final bar) alone.
Box Office Mojo reports THE WORLD’S END will arrive August 23, which puts it next to (not up against, because you’ll go see both, right?) the Adam Wingard-directed YOU’RE NEXT. Is a trailer not far behind?
