DVD/Blu-ray news: “I SPIT 2” date, “V/H/S/2” covers, “ANTIVIRAL” details, etc.


FANGORIA’s on-line Chopping List of upcoming DVD and Blu-ray releases has just undergone a big update, and we’ve got several particularly notable bits of news to share here, along with cover art for several upcoming titles.

Factory will release the three-Blu-ray THE AMITYVILLE HORROR TRILOGY, containing the first three in the haunted-house franchise, October 1 priced at $69.97, and THE VINCENT PRICE COLLECTION, a four-Blu-ray set featuring a number of the acting legend’s classic titles, October 22 for $79.97. Magnet/Magnolia Home Entertainment has V/H/S/2 (pictured above) dated September 24 for DVD ($26.98), Blu-ray ($29.98) and Blu-ray/DVD combo ($34.98), while Anchor Bay Entertainment will release I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2 the same day on DVD ($26.98) and Blu-ray ($30.99). Further details are coming soon on all of these.


We also have more details on a few noteworthy upcoming titles. Two of IFC Films/MPI Media Group’s most noteworthy films, Brandon Cronenberg’s ANTIVIRAL and Eric Walter’s MY AMITYVILLE HORROR, both street August 2 on DVD for $24.98. ANTIVIRAL, also available on Blu-ray for $29.98, will come with the following extras:
