Countess Bathory lives in “CHASTITY BITES”! Exclusive posterMovies/TV,News Michael Gingold
The notorious Countess Bathory is alive and well and seeking virgin blood at a high school in CHASTITY BITES. We’ve got the exclusive poster debut to show you, plus the teaser trailer and info on the movie’s world premiere.
CHASTITY BITES was directed by John V. Knowles from a script by producer Lotti Pharriss Knowles, and stars Allison Scagliotti from Syfy’s WAREHOUSE 13, Francia Raisa, Louise Griffiths, Eddy Rioseco, Chloë Crampton, Greer Grammer, Amy Okuda, Sarah Stouffer, Lindsey Morgan, Laura Niemi, Jennifer Gimenez and master of horror Stuart Gordon. Here’s the synopsis: “Notorious serial killer Elizabeth Bathory believed that bathing in virgin blood would keep her young and beautiful forever. Still alive today, she’s found a perfect hunting ground for her ‘botox’ as an abstinence educator in conservative America…but will a brave young blogger and reporter for the high-school paper finally put an end to the Blood Countess’ reign of terror, and save her best friend from becoming the next victim?”
The poster was designed by illustrator/writer/filmmaker Nathan Thomas Milliner of Rebel Rouser Art, whose images have graced the packaging of Scream! Factory Blu-rays and DVDs including HALLOWEEN II and III, THE FUNHOUSE, TERROR TRAIN, DEADLY BLESSING, THE BURNING and THE HOWLING; he recently completed his directorial debut on A WISH FOR THE DEAD. “We are huge fans of classic horror,” Lotti Pharriss Knowles says, “and we love Nathan’s take on some of those classics for Scream! Factory. We were so excited to get to work with him, because we really wanted the CHASTITY BITES poster to have that throwback feel to horror posters from the ’70s and ’80s.”
CHASTITY BITES has its world premiere Saturday, June 1 at 11:45 p.m. at the Dances With Films festival in Hollywood; tickets can be purchased here. It’ll be hitting more festivals as the summer goes on; find out more about the movie at its official website and Facebook page.
