Contest: Win a “CHILD’S PLAY”/”SCREAM” Studiohouse Poster Combo!Books/Art/Culture,Contests,Giveaways,News Ken W. Hanley No Comment
Last year, FANGORIA was very excited to host a giveaway for the talented, horror-friendly artists over at Studiohouse Designs, who stunned this writer with a set of truly exceptional posters at Bizarre AC. Now, Studiohouse is at it again, offering a pair of posters to FANGORIA readers featuring two of the most beloved slasher flicks of all time: CHILD’S PLAY and SCREAM!
Here’s what Studiohouse’s Kevin Thomas had to say about these two petrifying prints, which you can see below!
When we set out to create a couple new posters for this past months Monster Mania we immediately gravitated to the 2 franchises best represented (in our humble opinion) at the con; SCREAM and CHILD’S PLAY.
CHILD’S PLAY was the first design we jumped on. We really loved the idea of Chucky looking harmless amongst a pile of other stuffed animals and toys yet when you look closely there is something menacing going on. We even consciously decided to keep the color palate even throughout the entire poster in order to add to the feeling of safety found in a pile of stuffed animals.
SCREAM was a little tougher. We went through about 3 different designs until we settled on the final product. We decided to take a different approach, so instead of focusing on “Ghostface” we wanted to have the focus be on the actual main cast in some of their most pivotal of scenes. The portraits within the blood are some of our best drawings to date.
Want to win? It’s simple: email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject title “GOOD GUY GHOSTFACE” and the following information:
