The long-shrouded-in-myth Hal Roach supernatural anthology TV show THE VEIL was produced in 1958, though not one of its 10 episodes actually aired, despite the presence of horror legend Boris Karloff as host and star. Long unseen, the series lapsed into the public domain, eventually appearing in a number of budget VHS and DVD releases over the years.
