  • Q&A: Director David Hayter on “WOLVES”

    In his directorial feature debut, actor David Hayter aims to craft a sort of NEAR DARK for werewolves. It’s the story of high school footballer Cayden Richards (Lucas Till), who is forced to grow up very quickly when his parents are murdered. With nowhere to go and no one to turn to Cayden takes off on a road trip to a destination unknown, that is, until an ugly-looking creep named Wild Joe sends Cayden to Lupine Ridge to learn more about himself and his lineage. It is here where Cayden meets some ugly truths about his family, life and survival. Cayden must fight to not only protect himself but the girl he loves, and the people who have taken him in.

  • NYC: Free Screening of “THE MULE” on November 24!

    FANGORIA will be hosting a free screening of the explosive comedic thriller THE MULE—the latest from SAW/THE CONJURING co-creator Leigh Whannell—in New York City on Monday, November 24 at 7 p.m. This special showing will be held at the Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, off University Place). Directed by Tony Mahony and Angus Sampson and inspired by a true story, THE MULE stars Hugo (THE MATRIX) Weaving, Angus (INSIDIOUS) Sampson, John (FRINGE) Noble, Ewen (DEAD EUROPE) Leslie and Whannell, who co-wrote the offbeat crime film with Sampson and Jaime Browne.

  • There’s Something Wrong With Adult Swim’s “TOO MANY COOKS”

    As fans may know, there are few networks that so often goe down the path of the horrifying in their comedy programming as much as Adult Swim. While the network has always been subversive, playing to an audience that loves the absurd, irreverent and perverse, programming such as TIM AND ERIC’S BEDTIME STORIES, RICK AND MORTY and EAGLEHEART have all shown a deep appreciation for the horror genre in their content. However, Adult Swim’s one-off “infomercial”-turned-viral-sensation TOO MANY COOKS has shown that that appreciation can definitely go to completely unpredictable places.
