    Full Trailer: NBC’s “ROSEMARY’S BABY” Miniseres

    NBC’s upcoming four-hour miniseries remake of ROSEMARY’S BABY is certainly a curiosity. With Polanski’s classic film being almost notoriously faithful to Ira Levin’s original novel, it seems the new adaptation almost must make drastic changes. The new Paris setting is surely one, and peppered within the first, full trailer for the Agnieszka Holland-directed series are others, alongside more iconic moments that will surely be familiar.

    Kier-La Janisse to present School of Shock at Dead by Dawn; New High School Horror Mixtape!

    Acclaimed writer Kier-La Janisse (HOUSE OF PSYCHOTIC WOMEN) boasts a great talent: the mixtape. Often coinciding with essays and programming duties, the soundtracks to whatever happens to be Janisse’s focus at the time are often wild blends of pop, dialogue and score that make for true auditory delight.     Kevin Smith’s “TUSK” to star Johnny Depp?

    Fans of RED STATE director Kevin Smith have had a surreal experience following the development of his sophomore fright flick, TUSK. A body horror jokingly conceived on Smith’s podcast, SModcast, while riffing on a real-life classified ad, Smith called off his impending retirement and churned out a script for TUSK last summer, wrapping production by the fall and being secured for release by UNDER THE SKIN distributor A24 Films shortly after. And while Smith’s social media presence has kept the horror community up to speed regarding the film, including announcements of the cast to some disturbing concept art, Smith has intentionally shrouded the identity of who would be playing one of the film’s protagonists, a Canadian detective named Guy LaPointe.
