  • Event Report: FANGO’s “CLOSE RANGE” Screening in NYC!

    Cyber Monday officially turned into Martial Arts Monday for all attending the free FANGORIA screening of XLRator’s release of Issac Florentine’s CLOSE RANGE.  As a way to bring in some fresh blood to our free screenings, FANGORIA enlisted a few martial arts experts to give the audience a live demonstration of some MMA fighting techniques. Straight from Gramercy, NY, Head Instructor Sensei Rivera and his gang of MMA fighters took the stage for the pre-show entertainment.  What followed was an intense show of men and women of all shapes, sizes, and creeds, flawlessly throwing punches and high kicks, making it seem effortless to those watching.

    Director Mike Mendez is wrapping up a busy year by shooting the Dolph Lundgren-starring supernatural thriller DON’T KILL IT. Production started today, and Mendez released a first photo from the set (seen above), and gave Fango the exclusive scoop on additional cast and the FX team.
