Bruce Campbell’s Horror Film Festival Announces Line-Up

,

While attention from fright fans has been turned to the likes of Fantasia, Tromadance and FANGORIA’s own International Online Film Festival, another excellent film fest has been coating right underneath FANGORIA’s nose: the second annual Bruce Campbell Horror Film Festival! Presented by Wizard World and programmed by The Awesome Fest, the festival running August 20 – 23 at the Muvico Theater in Rosemont, Illinois, the four-day event is free for Wizard World badge-holders (space permitting), and a limited number of festival badges and single tickets are available for fans who are not registered for Wizard World.

Titles playing at the BCHFF include Stanley Film Festival favorites BODY, SUN CHOKE and SOME KIND OF HATE as well as the highly anticipated CONTRACTED: PHASE II (in its North American premiere), DUDE BRO PARTY MASSACRE III, HE NEVER DIED and TALES OF HALLOWEEN. Meanwhile, classic chillers such as CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST (introduced by Eli Roth!) and FRIGHT NIGHT (followed by a Tom Holland Q&A) are slated to play, alongside the likes of BUNNY THE KILLER THING, HELLIONS, NINA FOREVER, THE PACK and Adam G. Simon’s THE PACK (which is having its world premiere). And, of course, there wouldn’t be a Bruce Campbell Horror Film Festival without Campbell in attendance, and a screening of BUBBA HO-TEP will be proceeded by a Q&A with the actor himself.

Festival badges are currently on sale for $100, and single screening tickets are available for $12. To purchase badges or tickets and view Festival schedule updates, visit www.bchff.com.
