Body horror “THANATOMORPHOSE” to premiere at San Diego’s Frequency Festival
Éric Falardeau’s graphic THANATOMORPHOSE, which previously won Best Movie at 2012′s XXXI Festival de Cine de Terror de Molins de Rei in Spain and Best Special Makeup Effects at the A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Australia, is making its Stateside debut this June. It looks proper eerie.
Our own Chris Alexander has been singing the praises of this one and if the above teaser is any indication, it seems right up our unsettling alley. As the synopsis notes, the title THANATOMORPHOSE is a french word meaning “the visible signs of an organism’s decomposition caused by death.” In the film, one day, a young and beautiful girl wakes up and finds her flesh rotting…
THANATOMORPHOSE will debut at San Diego’s Frequency Film Festival on Thursday, June 6th at 7:15 p.m. It joins apparent horror comedy QUITE A CONUNDRUM and the wonderfully titled VEGETARIAN CANNIBAL. For more on THANATOMORPHOSE, visit its official site here.
