Become A Ghostbuster At Sony & BBQ Films’ Exclusive, Immersive “GHOSTBUSTERS” Event!

,

One of my earliest introductions to the horror genre, in its many ways, shapes and forms, was undoubtedly through GHOSTBUSTERS. Whether it was the film itself, or perhaps the live stage show at Universal Studios Orlando, this writer remembers the universal appeal of GHOSTBUSTERS; hell, I’d argue most fright fans would jump through hoops for the chance to be a Ghostbuster themselves. And now, thirty two years after the film was released, partygoers and horrorheads will finally have their chance, as BBQ Films, the live theatrical event team behind the BEETLEJUICE Wedding and BLADE Rave experiences, is teaming with Sony Pictures to create a GHOSTBUSTERS event unlike any other!

Starting Wednesday, June 8th, BBQ Films will be turning Williamsburg, Brooklyn’s hotspot Villain (50 North 3rd Street) into GHOSTBUSTERS HQ, complete with a screening of the 1984 original film, full-fledged Ghostbuster training sessions, ghost-sighting consultations, and a limited edition event poster for all attendees. However, the event is also offering a VIP experience that includes reserved seating, two complimentary adult ecto-beverages and a commemorative gift. But the experience doesn’t stop there: this immersive, interactive event aims to be a celebration of all things GHOSTBUSTERS, so expect surprises from the past, present and future of the franchise throughout the venue.

Running until at least Friday, June 10th, you can get your tickets for the GHOSTBUSTERS immersive event in both general and VIP packages HERE. FANGORIA will be there; will you?
