  • TIFF Q&A: Director Bruce McDonald talks “HELLIONS”

    After taking break from the genre after 2008’s cult classic PONTYPOOL, Bruce McDonald has returned to horror with his new Halloween themed feature HELLIONS and this writer couldn’t be more excited to check it out when it premieres at TIFF later this week. The film stars Chloe Rose (DARKNET), Rossif Sutherland (DEAD BEFORE DAWN) and fan favorite Robert Patrick in a tale written by Pascal Trottier.  The official synopsis states “A teenager must survive a Halloween night from Hell when malevolent trick-or-treaters come knocking at her door”.
