  • Event Report: “ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL” World Premiere

The Egyptian theatre was transformed into an ominous fairground that transported guests into the fantastical world that Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II) and Terrance Zdunich have created. The two have collaborated previously on 2008’s REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA and 2012’s THE DEVIL”S CARNIVAL and in the process have obtained a cult following which was evident by the enthusiastic crowd that turned up to feast their eyes on the duo’s latest installment. Guests were serenaded by a rag tag bunch of carnival folk playing washboards, fiddles and kazoos as knife eating vixens and creepy carnie folk wandered the grounds, all part of the experience when it comes to a Zdunich/Bousman production.
