    Exclusive Crispin Glover clip from “THE BAG MAN”

    Fango nabbed an exclusive clip of WILLARD and BACK TO THE FUTURE star Crispin Glover from the all-star crime thriller THE BAG MAN, coming to theaters February 28 from Cinedigm. NYC-based fans can see THE BAG MAN for free at Fango’s advance screening this coming Monday, February 24 at 7 p.m. This special showing will be held at New York City’s Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, off University Place). Joining Glover at the screening will be BAG MAN lead actress Rebecca Da Costa (TRICK OF THE WITCH, 7 BELOW), and the two will take part in a Q&A following the movie.     NYC! Free FANGORIA Screening of Bloody Horror Flick, “ALMOST HUMAN”

    FANGORIA will host a free screening of the new ’80s-style horror film ALMOST HUMAN on Wednesday, February 26 at 9 p.m. at New York City’s IFC Center (323 Sixth Avenue at 3rd Street; 212-924-7771). Written and directed by Stuart Gordon protégé Joe Begos, ALMOST HUMAN stars newcomers Graham Skipper, Josh Ethier and Vanessa Leigh. The film debuted at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival. Begos and Ethier will host ALMOST HUMAN’s Big Apple premiere.

    First Look: Barbara Crampton in “SUN CHOKE”

    Taking cues from such films as REPULSION by Roman Polanski and the more recent DOGTOOTH, from Greek director Giorgos Lanthimos, SUN CHOKE  is “…a meditation on loneliness that is wrapped up inside a psychological horror film,” says writer-director Ben Cresciman. “I think the two main characters are deeply lonely people and the way that loneliness affects them is sort of what drives the plot forward.” Horror veteran Barbara Crampton (RE-ANIMATOR, YOU’RE NEXT) and Sarah Hagan (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) star in the new horror film, which recently wrapped shooting in Los Angeles.
