    Toronto! Celebrate the return of “NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE” and Win a Fango Subscription!

    After a smash run earlier this year, Nictophobia Films’ outrageously amusing, campy stage remounting of the seminal 1968 masterpiece of zombie horror, returns to the Toronto stage at Theatre Passe Murraille. GEORGE A. ROMERO’S NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD LIVE, directed by EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL’s Christopher Bond and sponsored in part by FANGORIA,  is co-produced by Romero and his NOTLD cohorts John Russo and Russ Streiner and is designed and lit in shuddery, shadowy black and white. Act one faithfully reproduces every beat of the original classic, while act two flies bloodily off the rails and the show veers wonderfully between pleasing the core cult and hooking a general audience. It’s a blast and the lads behind the show have now altered many of the gags and toyed with the staging, so even if you caught it during its first run, you’ll get a fresh frisson or two from this version…

    Due to intense demand, we are extending our discounted GOREZONE subscription pre-sale. As we first reported here, FANGORIA has revived our beloved splattery sister magazine GOREZONE as a six issue per year subscription and sell through title only. Initially, our plan was to stop the pre-sale (discounted at a rate of $45 per year) on July 15th. And we did, with the intent to put the subscriptions back on sale in September at the regular rate of $55 per year.

    FANGORIA is thrilled to have an ongoing presence in iconic film legend Roger Corman’s new online channel “Corman’s Drive-In”. As we reported here, the legendary producer, director and mogul has launched a wild new subscription based YouTube channel called “Corman’s Drive-In” in which he and his partner and wife Julie blast out hundreds of vintage Corman classics and curiosities padded out with new, original content and words from the celebrated Hollywood alumni whose careers were forged under Roger’s savvy eye.
