DYSTOPIA was banned from opening in New York in 2015 and the prospect of it happening looked grim. The Haunted Scarehouse of Wharton, New Jersey offered up their location. DYSTOPIA opened to great reviews and guests traveling from all over America and even as far as Australia to try out the beta version of the experience.

  • “HOLLYWOOD & CRIME” graphic docudrama commemorates Black Dahlia 70th anniversary!

    Many avid horror fans cherish gruesome fictional stories, film plots and characters, but many can also appreciate the depiction of a terrifying true crime story as well. A new graphic docudrama series, “HOLLYWOOD & CRIME,” has been unearthed and is an investigative podcast that focuses on Hollywood’s most notorious crimes.

    The first series examines the “Black Dahlia” murder case to commemorate its 70th anniversary with new information and clues that may help pinpoint the actual killer. The podcast’s grim narrative takes you on an in-depth journey through the tragedy and describes, in vivid detail, the incident involving Elizabeth Short.

  • Extreme Horror Experience “DEPROGRAMMED” Targets Safe Spaces and the Regressive Left

    In 2016, The Haunted Scarehouse of Wharton, NJ and Fringe Immersive out of New York teamed up with shock haunter Russ McKamey of the infamous McKamey Manor to bring the east coast a taste of extreme horror with DYSTOPIA. The horror show went very well with guests traveling from as far as Australia to attend the one night only experience.

    Flash forward to 2017 and the people who brought you DYSTOPIA have created a new experience called DEPROGRAMMED which targets the topics of safe spaces and regressive left-wing politics.

  • FANGO Original Editor Bob Martin health issues, Medical Fund needs your help!

    For life-long fans of the magazine, the name Robert “Bob” Martin is not a new name to you. For those unfamiliar, “Uncle Bob Martin”, as he’s also known, was the original Editor of Fangoria Magazine from 1979 -1986. Unfortunately, Uncle Bob has recently encountered some health issues and is currently in the hospital. As many of you may relate, healthcare is also an issue. The burden of medical bills ensues as Uncle Bob recovers from a major health complication at the same time. His family and friends have started a GoFundMe page to help ease the stress of medical bills and any other needs he may have during this trying time.

  • Women in Horror Film Festival launched, accepting submissions!

    As stronger support continues to develop for recognition of women’s roles in film-making, a brand new film festival, WOMEN IN HORROR FILM FESTIVAL, is launched and dedicated to showcasing women in various positions of production.  In order to meet the criteria for selection, the submitted work must have at least 50% of roles that are fulfilled by women. These roles include: producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, and lead talent for the completed project.
