Fledgling Canadian horror, cult film and VHS culture show Shock Stock has added more guests to its already impressive lineup.

First up is actress Naomi Grossman, who plays the toothy “pinhead” in the second season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY; who, sans heavy make-up is anything but unattractive. Also on the bill will be Canadian actors Art Hindle and Cindy Hinds from director David Cronenberg’s 1979 masterpiece THE BROOD. Hinds, whose performance as a tormented little girl in THE BROOD is one of the greatest child turns in horror has been awol from acting for over 25 years and has never appeared at any convention, marking her SHOCK STOCK sign up as a first.
Hindle, who played her father in THE BROOD, was also in the certifiable classics BLACK CHRISTMAS and Philip Kaufman’s chilling 1978 riff on INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS.

Joining Grossman, Hindle and Hinds will be Patricia Quinn (ROCKY HORROR, SHOCK TREATMENT), Gerrit Graham (PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE, CHUD II), Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD, LORDS OF SALEM) and another Cronenberg and Romero vet, Lynn Lowry (THE CRAZIES, SHIVERS).

The London, Ontario-based SHOCK STOCK has been garnering a great international reputation as Canada’s answer to Cinema Wasteland; small, controlled and bursting with edgy genre street cred. Last year saw Goblin alum Maurizio Gaurini and Claudio Simonetti blowing the walls out for a wild live performance.

This year, taking place April 12-14, looks ever weirder and wilder.
