A movie to “CRAVE” sets U.S. release date

The knockout psychological thriller that has won raves and awards at festivals is headed toward wider exposure next month.

CRAVERELEASENEWSPhase 4 Films has announced that CRAVE, the directorial debut of much-praised disc-documentary creator Charles de Lauzirika, will hit select theaters and VOD December 6 (preliminary art seen at right). Scripted by Lauzirika and Robert Lawton, the movie stars Josh Lawson (pictured above) as a Detroit crime-scene photographer prone to graphic fantasies of retribution against people who displease him. At first, he would never act on those impulses—but his relationship with a pretty neighbor (Emma Lung) threatens to steer him toward acts of real violence.
