For the first time ever, the SAW series goes live with The Saw VI Soundtrack Presents Tour featuring Mushroomhead with special guests Ventana & The Flood. Dates kick off on December 2nd. The tour features Cleveland, Ohio's original rock vaudeville act Mushroomhead, who are currently finishing up their 7th studio album (due out 2010 and produced by co-founding member and drummer Steve 'Skinny' Felton). In the meantime the band penned a brand new track 'Your Soul Is Mine' available on The Saw VI Soundtrack. A video for 'Your Soul Is Mine' is also being shot and directed by David Greathouse of Precinct 13, who also shot the band's award-winning video for '1200' which won the 'video of the year' on MTV's 'Headbangers Ball' in 2007.
Ventana recently released their debut album, American Survival Guide Vol. 1 which contains 11 solid tracks of coarse industrial metal. Featuring members of Mushroomhead, American Survival Guide Vol. 1 was also co-produced by Mushroomhead's Steve Felton. Ventana's song 'Watch us Burn' is included on The Saw VI Soundtrack.Hailing from Seattle WA - a city known for its downpours of rain - The Flood bring a torrent of a different kind: a swirling downpour of dark riffs, powerful breakdowns, and stark lyrics. Look for a new digital EP produced by Sylvia Massy (Tool, System Of A Down) to be released in December; one of the EP songs, "Lethal Injection" can be found on the SAW VI Soundtrack.
Out now on Trustkill Records and Artists' Addiction the SAW VI Original Motion Picture Soundtrack also features brand new and unreleased music from Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Suicide Silence, Shadows Fall, Converge, It Dies Today, Kittie, Chimaira, Every Time I Die, to name a few.
