Have you ever wanted to dress glamorously, yet with a mix of Goth and horror? Then Torture Couture is the line for you. It was created by Graciela Martell as a class project at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA; her partner Jacob came up with the moniker, and the rest is history.

Do any of these titles sound familiar? SNAKES ON A TRAIN? THE DA VINCI TREASURE? PARANORMAL ENTITY? These cheap knockoffs of theatrical blockbusters all came from The Asylum, whose mission has been to create straight-to-video movies capitalizing on the strength of their major-studio “inspirations.” Some of the Asylum gang recently branched out to form Night Light Films, which just had four DVDs hit the shelves via Echo Bridge Entertainment, all for the low price of $6.99 each.

After Summit Entertainment confirmed last week what everyone already knew—that Bill Condon will direct BREAKING DAWN, the final movie (or two movies) in the TWILIGHT saga (see report here)—the director took to Facebook to introduce himself to Twihards and proclaim his passion for the project.

The horror-music creators at Midnight Syndicate have released their first official music video, for the song "Dark Legacy" from the soundtrack of the group's debut feature film THE DEAD MATTER (pictured). Check out the clip after the jump.

Iconic sci-fi/horror filmmaker Bert I. Gordon (THE AMAZING COLOSSAL MAN, THE FOOD OF THE GODS, etc.) will be joining the Fango family this summer, reviving the long-dormant “The Pit and the Pen” column. The late writer/producer Alex Gordon (THE SHE CREATURE, Ed Wood’s JAIL BAIT) wrote the popular feature for FANGORIA magazine during the 1980s, presenting an ongoing diary of his wild and weird war stories from the front lines of the B-movie business during its heyday in the 1950s and ’60s.

Even before the first weekend of the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake's release is over, its producers are already planning a follow-up. And—no surprise—it'll have an extra added dimension.

What’s the difference between a typical bad movie and a BEST WORST MOVIE? That’s the question explored by Michael Stephenson’s highly entertaining new documentary, in which he examines the experience of being part of TROLL 2—both during its shooting and in the wake of its years-later cult rediscovery. The festival favorite has begun its theatrical rollout in venues across the U.S. (see details here).

TELL TALE (hitting DVD and Blu-ray May 25 from Genius Products/Vivendi Entertainment) is a movie that serves as a metaphor for itself on a couple of levels. It’s about a physical heart that’s transplanted from one body to another; the script transplants Edgar Allan Poe’s 19th-century classic story “The Tell-Tale Heart” into a 21st-century chiller; and the direction by Michael Cuesta, in concert with the performances, transplants an unusual amount of figurative heart into what could have played as B-movie material.

Writer/director Jeff Roenning gave Fango the details and some behind-the-scenes pics (see ’em after the jump) from MOTHER’S DAY MASSACRE, a domestic shocker shot under the title HOT BABY. Produced by John A. Gallagher (director of STREET JUSTICE and THE DELI) and Gregory Segal, HOT BABY follows Jim Cavanaugh (Adam Scarimbolo), a shy New Jersey teen, who lives with Tex, his jerk of a father (TOOLBOX MURDERS’ Greg Travis).

If you’re going to open an exorcism school, you’ve gotta staff it with some skilled veterans. And the cast of New Line’s THE RITE, which deals with a seminary student who joins just such a place, has added a trio of solid performers to its roster.

Not many bands can take on the world of fiction storytelling and concept albums quite like Coheed & Cambria, who've spread across five records an epic tale that manages to weave together sci-fi, horror, romance and coming of age. With their most recent release, YEAR OF THE BLACK RAINBOW, Coheed are delving into the meaning behind the songs with a series of videos. Read on to check out a look at "In The Flame Of Error" with singer Claudio Sanchez and veteran metal drummer, Howard Stern personality and Fango friend Richard Christy!

Werewolves, vampires and a teenage love triangle that rivals Joey, Dawson and Pacey’s romantic quandary back in DAWSON’S CREEK’s glory days. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE has all this and more, and now there are two new stills to satisfy Stephenie Meyer fans.
