HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN is TREEVENGE co-director Jason Eisener’s feature-length adaptation of his cult short. It stars THE HITCHER’s Rutger Hauer as the hobo with a shotgun, and two new clips from the movie are now up on the web.

This is a match made in creature-feature heaven: Tibor Takács, director of ICE SPIDERS, and Nu Image, the company behind SPIDERS and SPIDERS 2, are teaming up for SPIDER in 3-D!

Finally, DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW, the 1981 telemovie directed by AUDREY ROSE/THE ENTITY author Frank De Felitta, is being released on DVD. It’s been long overdue, but now DARK NIGHT has a release date, disc specs and cover art.

IFC Films has been snapping a lot of intriguing genre titles from all over the world for theatrical/DVD & Blu-ray (via MPI Media Group)/video-on-demand release. Now the company has established a specific banner, IFC Midnight, under which it will issue these titles, and announced the lineup for the next several months.
