The latest scoop concerning DEXTER’s fifth season has the 29-year-old actress in advanced talks to play a major role.

Daniel Griffith, the documentary/disc supplement producer/director whose credits include the terrific DARK SIDE OF EDEN for the STANLEY DVD, got in touch with details of his latest project: NO DIALOGUE NECESSARY: MAKING “THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS.” This 30-minute feature will appear in Shout! Factory’s upcoming MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 XVIII DVD boxed set.

Stephen King (who has always had a fondness for motorcycles) hopped on a Harley to film an episode of the FX series SONS OF ANARCHY, and the UNDER THE DOME author wrote about his experience on the set. And speaking of UNDER THE DOME, check out the cover and news on the upcoming trade paperback.

VerdiCorrente Productions’ INKUBUS, which stars A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET’s Robert Englund, has recently wrapped. The cast also includes William Forsythe, Joey Fatone, Jonathan Silverman, Mike Cerrone and Michelle Ray Smith, and the film now has an official website.

Robert Kirkman, creator of the now wildly popular comic THE WALKING DEAD—currently being turned into an AMC original series with the help of THE GREEN MILE’s Frank Darabont—recently spoke about the upcoming series, his own involvement and what fans can expect when the show hits cable in October. Yesterday, FANGORIA TV presented part two of exclusive video chat with acclaimed CUBE director Vincenzo Natali, whose new movie, the sci-fi/horror yarn SPLICE, opens June 4 from Warner Bros./Dark Castle. In the third and final installment of our mega on-camera interview (see below the jump), Natali discusses with Fango’s Tony Timpone SPLICE’s casting and special FX, as well as how FANGORIA inspired him.

The Midnight Syndicate group, who have been responsible for plenty of scary music over the past decade, are preparing to unleash their first feature film, THE DEAD MATTER, this summer. They just sent along word of a special three-disc set that’ll be available exclusively at Hot Topic stores, along with cover art and a new trailer.

Veteran international genre filmmaker Brian Yuzna is still keeping busy overseas. Last year he announced a slate of movies to be made under his new Komodo Films banner, and one of those projects is a dimensional creature feature he’s directed called “AMPHIBIOUS 3D,” for which an official website recently appeared.
