Yesterday it was rumored that GILMORE GIRLS and BAD SANTA actress, Lauren Graham would be joining the cast of SCREAM 4, and now it's been confirmed. Head below to find out who she'll be playing.

Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Entertainment and Radical Pictures are teaming to develop for the big screen LEGENDS, a graphic novel from Radical’s publishing branch that brings together such fairy tale favorites as Red Riding Hood, Jack the Giant Killer and Hansel & Gretel in a dark fantasy setting.

ABC’s new series premiering this Sunday centers on a private mountain community called The Gates. The image of perpetual suburban bliss, each street is lined with perfectly manicured homes protected by the massive iron gates, but a dark and delicious secret is buried just beneath the surface of this picturesque neighborhood. So what’s horror about this show? Well, it has supernatural elements and UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS’ Rhona Mitra as a vampire. Take a look at the preview.

In another Konami Digital Entertainment release, CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW continues the horror franchise that started with the original CASTLEVANIA’s NES release back in 1986. This sequel takes place at the end of days. Read more about the storyline after the jump. 

Konami Digital Entertainment is returning to the strange world of Silent Hill with plans to release the eighth installment in the popular franchise. The video game will be another third-person experience, with an all-new storyline that you can read about after the jump.

Having conquered the tween music scene and made her dramatic acting debut in this year’s THE LAST SONG, Miley Cyrus is celebrating her impending 18th birthday by branching out into genre territory. She’ll be starring in a youth-centric chiller called WAKE for Paramount.

Sir Sean Connery is coming out of retirement to join the Showtime series. He’ll be playing Dexter’s grandfather… OK, that’s B.S. The casting news is really pretty minor, but it is news: a lesser-known actor than Sir Sean has been hired for a recurring role, joining Season Five’s new cast members Julia Stiles, Maria Doyle Kennedy and Shawn Hatosy.
