At last summer’s Fantasia film festival in Montreal, two
directors premiered movies that head into limited theatrical release this
weekend: Robin Hardy with THE WICKER TREE, and Richard Stanley as part of the
group behind the anthology THE THEATRE BIZARRE. As part of the fest, these two unique
talents sat down for a lengthy discussion of the genre, and you can watch a big
chunk of it after the jump.
The video seen below premiered at the Spectacular Optical website, and presents the first 26 minutes of the British duo’s hour-long conversation. A fully edited version of the complete panel will be posted at the site sometime in the future. For more on the filmmakers’ new movies, hit up THE WICKER TREE’s official website and THE THEATRE BIZARRE’s Facebook page, and see our reviews of WICKER here and THEATRE here.
