THE INNKEEPERS and HOUSE OF THE DEVIL director has a psychological sci-fi tale on the horizon, and an impressive actress to star.

Deadline reports that Liv Tyler (THE STRANGERS) will topline THE SIDE EFFECT, where she'll play Catherine Rigby, a pharmaceutical company's test subject, alone in space and suddenly pregnant. 

West has previously said the film's concept came from his own messy bout with the healthcare system.

His latest work, the terrific THE INKEEPERS is currently on demand, with a limited theatrical release hitting February 3. Obviously, new West is something very much looking forward to, and we'll be doing just that.
