After much uncertainty about when Vincenzo Natali’s SPLICE would reach theaters, following the financial troubles of previous distributor Senator Entertainment, comes word that it has been set as a prime summer attraction.
Box Office Mojo reveals that the movie will released by Warner Bros. and Dark Castle Entertainment June 4, which puts it up against a pair of comedies (GET HIM TO THE GREEK and KILLERS) and a family flick (MARMADUKE). The film stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as geneticists who decide to add human DNA to their experiments and come up with a female creature that soon proves to be uncontrollable. Look for a major Fango story on SPLICE in issue #295, on sale in May.
