STAKE LAND, writer/director Jim Mickle and writer/star Nick Damici’s knockout new vampire film from Glass Eye Pix, Dark Sky Films and IFC Midnight, begins its theatrical release today in New York City. In STAKE LAND, Damici plays the hero known only as Mister, leading a group of survivors (including Connor Paolo and Sean Nelson, seen in the video, plus Danielle Harris and Kelly McGillis) through a postapocalyptic America plagued not only by ravenous bloodsuckers but a fanatical religious cult led by Jebediah (Michael Cerveris, also part of the interviews).  See our review of STAKE LAND here and its websites here and here, and check out Fango #303, on sale this month, for more on the film.
