Ready or not, the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake is coming to theaters this Friday, April 30. Check out the latest clip from the Warner Bros./New Line release after the jump.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock with no Internet, chances are you’ve at least heard of TUCKER & DALE VS. EVIL in passing. The premise seems empty at first: While fixing up a rundown cabin in the woods, the titular hillbillies are mistaken for psycho killers by some vacationing college kids. Nothing particularly new or exciting there—until you learn that our bumbling rednecks are played by none other than Alan Tudyk (FIREFLY, DOLLHOUSE) and REAPER’s Tyler Labine, who play hilariously well together.

Life of Agony bassist Alan Robert stopped by the Fango office for to give us the lowdown on his new comic series WIRE HANGERS, check out the clip below!

Can’t get enough of guiding Rico Rodriguez through hours upon hours of endless destruction? Neither can we, which is why we’re giddy with itchy trigger fingers over two new packs of downloadable content for JUST CAUSE 2, available over the next few weeks.

George A. Romero's latest film in his 40+ year zombie saga, SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD (read our review here) is gearing up to hit theaters May 28 and Magnolia Pictures has given Fango an exclusive teaser for its on demand play, check it out below!

Edgar Allan Poe’s classic horror tale “The Fall of the House of Usher” has inspired any number of filmmakers over the decades, from Roger Corman in the ’60s to David DeCoteau just this year. But only now is the story getting the 3-D cinematic treatment.

Ridley Scott has been doing a lot of talking lately about the ALIEN prequel he’ll direct for 20th Century Fox. Following his comments that we reported on here, he dished some more about his plans for the 3-D production over the weekend.

Word from those involved in Dimension’s upcoming PIRANHA 3-D has been promising that there’ll be plenty of blood in the water when the movie hits theaters August 27. We previously heard from Eli Roth, who has a small part in the film, here and director Alexandre Aja made the promise here, and now Adam Scott (pictured), who plays the lead role of Novak Radzinsky in the film, is making the claim.

After a typically secretive production, Lionsgate has let a few details loose on SAW VII, the latest entry (and first in 3-D, via the brand new SI-3D digital system) of its popular series, due to cut into theaters October 22. The company released a synopsis as well as a cast list, which includes a returning star from the original film.

Thank heavens we live in a world where B-movie czar Bert I. Gordon, he of the larger-than-life-monsters-vs.-puny-humans classics of the 1960’s and 70’s, still walks among us. With pictures like THE AMAZING COLOSSAL MAN, EARTH VS THE SPIDER, THE BEGINNING OF THE END, VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS and FOOD OF THE GODS on his résumé (he also worked with Orson Welles on THE WITCHING and made the underrated Zsa Zsa Gabor Gothic PICTURE MOMMY DEAD), Gordon has firmly stamped his signature on B-cinema, creating a body of work that will stand the test of time.

To call George A. Romero’s latest zombie thriller a horror movie is only half right. Certainly, this sixth entry in his 40-year-old series details what happens when the dead return, armed with a blind instinct to rip the soft parts of the living to shreds—but, as any serious scholar of these pictures knows, none of Romero’s DEAD films are alike.

With the remake of Wes Craven’s A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET opening this Friday, April 30, the time is ripe for the two follow-ups with which Craven was directly involved to be revisited. Craven first returned as a writer and executive producer on 1987’s A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS, which features a strong cast and a number of bizarre special FX setpieces, and was the turning point for the highly successful franchise.
