NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: REANIMATED, the revisualization of George A. Romero’s classic that incorporates animated artwork by over 100 international artists, is heading for DVD after a series of successful screenings (most recently at Poughkeepsie, NY’s Hudson Horror Show). Wild Eye Releasing gave Fango the scoop on the specs.

THE LAST EXORCISM, a supernatural/possession oriented entry into the handheld camera subgenre directed by Daniel Stamm and produced by Eli Roth now has a trailer! Check it out below...

Are you a die-hard TRUE BLOOD fan? Did you always dream of living in Bon Temps? Have you often wished that you were born on the bayou? Well, the HBO series’ third season starts June 13, and the folks behind the show are auctioning off a walk-on role in an upcoming episode to the highest bidder.

We previously told you here about LITTLE DEATHS, a horror anthology feature from Britain that brings together directors Simon Rumley, Andrew Parkinson and Sean Hogan to create all kinds of graphic carnality and carnage. Today we’ve got some exclusive pics to show you from Parkinson’s “Mutant Tool” segment; check ’em out after the jump.

SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD, George A. Romero’s latest venture into a world overrun by zombie flesheaters, is now available on demand via assorted platforms and hits big screens this Friday, May 28. In conjunction with theatrical distributor Magnet Releasing, Fango is offering the chance to win one of two SURVIVAL one-sheet posters signed by Romero himself!

Don’t worry, no surgery or coprophagia is involved. Instead, a variation on the classic arcade game Centipede has turned up on-line, adapting it after the current screen shocker “THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE” (pictured).

Hidden in a corner of the weird wide web is a streaming program, a serialized shocker that explores the weighty themes of good vs. evil and jazzes them up with buckets of blood, id-stimulating monsters and ample sex appeal. That series is SOUL FIRE RISING, which has quietly been unfolding under the cult movie/TV radar and is now revving up anew—bigger, badder and more operatic than ever.

TRUE BLOOD’s third season debuts on HBO June 13, and a new minisode has hit the web to whet your appetite. This clip features Stephen Moyer’s Bill being hit on by a jewelry saleswoman.

Franck Richard’s French abduction/zombie horror film THE PACK (a.k.a. LA MEUTE) just played at Cannes—where its initially slated outdoor screening was blocked by French censors concerned about the movie’s extreme content. Take a look at the synopsis and some new photos that have hit the web.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET has come and gone and has definitely left a taste in my mouth—a taste I can’t quite identify. Sometimes I think it’s pizza, a treat that lingers as a reminder of how awesome it was to enjoy. Other times it’s like drinking orange juice after you brush your teeth. It’s just wrong and should not have been done. What I’m trying to say is that I may have eaten a few of my words… only a few of them. Just a little snack and not a full spread of “told-you-so.”

Mad science goes sexy! Today FANGORIA TV presents an exclusive video chat (see below the jump) with acclaimed CUBE director Vincenzo Natali, whose new movie, the horror thriller SPLICE, opens June 4 from Warner Bros./Dark Castle. In Part One of our mega on-camera interview, Natali tells Tony Timpone about SPLICE’s controversial premise and how difficult it was to convince people to invest in the production and how HELLBOY’s Guillermo del Toro and 13 GHOSTS’ Joel Silver became involved.

In a genre that tends to celebrate expressionless masks and the interchangeable stuntmen underneath, it’s heartening to see an actual actor like Michael Berryman as busy as he’s ever been. Fango readers may still know him best from his signature performance as the feral desert marauder Pluto in the original THE HILLS HAVE EYES; while audiences were quick to react to the actor’s unique and compelling facial features, it has ultimately been his layered portrayal of a childish savage that has left the real impression over the years.
