Description: These are two different versions I did of a fake movie poster in homage to Linnea Quigley's famous tombstone dance in Return of the Living Dead.
Thanks to Princess Pantiez, my lovely model and an excellent burleque dancer.
After photographing her at a local cemetary, I traditionally drew and inked all of the zombies and the title, scanned them in, and digitally painted them. Then threw on the text, and voila, this little fake poster.
If you'd like to see more of my work, check out my website www.HouseOfPayne.biz
Also, I'm always looking to work with models, other artists, and am always open to doing commissions.

Description: My name is Steven Hurd.
Enclosed are some examples of the horror themed work I do, what I call "altered object assemblages." I alter, modify, and mutilate salvaged, and broken, found objects, then assemble them into aesthetically pleasing works. From simple dry-brushing to complete modification, every element included is changed prior to inclusion.
Currently I have work exhibited with André Robillard at FocalArt Gallery, in La Jolla, Ca., and have been profiled on a couple websites, such as www.horrornews.net as well being profiled in a few magazines.
In July, I will be showing in a group show at Space Womb, across from MOMA PS1 in LIC Queens, NY.
