FANGORIA #304 doesn’t hit the shelves or arrive in your mailbox till May, but we’ve got the full contents as well as the cover to share with you now! The latter features a special painted image of legendary FX artist Tom Savini, who’s repped in the issue with an exclusive new interview, a set visit to his segment of the horror anthology THE THEATRE BIZARRE and more. The issue also contains interviews with Savini associates John Russo and John Amplas, cult filmmakers Frank Henenlotter (on his new H.G. Lewis documentary) and Alejandro Jodorowsky, STEPFATHER heroine Jill Schoelen and the directors of the new Spanish horrors KIDNAPPED and EXORCISMUS, plus a whole lot more. New York City’s Tribeca Film Festival gets underway today, and there’s a slew of wild, crazy and shocking features playing under the fest’s Cinemania banner. In conjunction with the fest, we’re offering pairs of free tickets to a bunch of those screenings!

FANGORIA will host a free screening of the Butcher Brothers’ bizarro flick THE VIOLENT KIND on Monday, May 2 at Los Angeles’ Silent Movie Theater (611 North Fairfax Avenue; [323] 655-2510). The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be attended by the film’s cast and crew (names TBA) who will participate in a Q&A after the screening. The movie is a raucous mashup of horror, sci-fi, biker flicks and rockabilly and comes from Northern California’s Butcher Brothers (a.k.a. Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores), creators of THE HAMILTONS.
