Win tickets to giallo screenings in New York City!

Black-gloved hands and twisted minds will be taking over New York City’s Anthology Film Archives (32 2nd Avenue) as it presents Giallo Fever, a festival of Italian fear, starting tomorrow. And we’ve got a chance for fans to grab free tickets!

Giallo Fever runs from Thursday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 30, and we have three pairs of tix to give away to any one of the following shows:

Dario Argento’s THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE: Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. (with star Tony Musante in attendance) and Monday, Sept. 24 at 9:15 p.m.

Mario Bava’s BLOOD AND BLACK LACE: Thursday, Sept. 20 at 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8:45 p.m.

Pupi Avati’s THE HOUSE OF THE LAUGHING WINDOWS: Friday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 24 at 6:45 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 29 at 4:45 p.m.

Lucio Fulci’s DON’T TORTURE A DUCKLING: Friday, Sept. 21 at 9:30 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.

Sergio Martino’s THE STRANGE VICE OF MRS. WARDH: Saturday, Sept. 22 at 4:15 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 28 at 9:30 p.m.

Dario Argento’s DEEP RED: Saturday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

Massimo Dallamano’s WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO SOLANGE?: Saturday, Sept. 22 at 9:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m.

Elio Petri’s A QUIET PLACE IN THE COUNTRY: Sunday, Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27 at 9:15 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m.

Mario Bava’s THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH a.k.a. THE EVIL EYE: Sunday, Sept. 23 at 6:45 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 29 at 7:15 p.m.

Lucio Fulci’s PERVERSION STORY a.k.a. ONE ON TOP OF THE OTHER: Sunday, Sept. 23 at 8:45 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 29 at 9:15 p.m.

All the movies will be presented in 35mm, with the exception of PERVERSION STORY, which will be in 16mm.
