The 2012 edition of Montreal’s Fantasia festival wrapped up this week, and a record crowd of over 109,000 people attended to see 160 features and a wide spectrum of shorts, and take part in the fest’s first industry marketplace. The event has announced its many award winners, which you can read after the jump.

There were any number of terrific genre movies screened at Fantasia, some of which have already been reviewed at this site, which more to come. Congratulations to all the winners!
