Britain’s This is Horror website announced the winners in its first annual This is Horror Awards yesterday—and FANGORIA is honored and humbled to have been named Magazine of the Year for 2011 by the voters.

Fango’s win in this category puts us in the fine company of such other honorees as Film of the Year THE TROLL HUNTER, TV Series of the Year DEXTER and many other achievements from 2011 (check out the full list here). “I and the rest of the Fango team want to thank This is Horror and its readership from the bottom of our bloody hearts,” says managing editor Michael Gingold. “We strive every issue to give our readers the best coverage of horror past and present, from all over the world, and will do our beast to live up to this honor in 2012!”
