Two generations of EVIL DEAD coverge at Texas’ Alamo
Drafthouse tomorrow morning for a special screening; read on for the details.
As part of the South by Southwest festival, KLBJ-FM 93.7 is sponsoring this event, which takes place at Austin, TX’s Alamo Drafthouse Village theater (2700 West Anderson Lane) tomorrow, March 8 at 10 a.m., following the station’s broadcast of their morning show from the venue from 6-10 a.m. The show includes a screening of Grindhouse Releasing’s restored 35mm print of Sam Raimi’s original THE EVIL DEAD, with director Fede Alvarez, producer Rob Tapert and stars Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci and Elizabeth Blackmore from the new EVIL DEAD (pictured above) on hand to discuss their film and how they went about remaking a cult classic.
