The actor who was once a boy wizard is now in final talks to
take part in the new film adaptation of the classic tale of mad science—but not
as the doctor.
Variety reports that Daniel Radcliffe is close to signing on to play Igor in FRANKENSTEIN for 20th Century Fox and Davis Entertainment. The film is set to be directed by Paul McGuigan from a script by CHRONICLE’s Max Landis, and is described as a tale of friendship and redemption (hmmmmm…). Radcliffe has been busy in the horror/Gothic genres since the HARRY POTTER series wrapped up, starring in THE WOMAN IN BLACK and the upcoming film version of Joe Hill’s HORNS directed by Alexandre Aja.
