It sounds more like a psychological thriller than all-out horror, but JACK does center on a serial killer with amnesia—and it’s being directed by Brad Anderson (SESSION 9, THE MACHINIST, MASTERS OF HORROR, FEAR ITSELF).
Variety reports that Anderson will direct from a script by David Venable. The story centers on an amnesiac serial killer who falls in love with a doctor. As his memories begin to surface, he must decide whether to make a clean start or embrace the killer within. Bold Films’ Michel Litvak and David Lancaster will produce with Alexandra Milchan and Marc Sternberg. Gary Michael Walters will executive produce. Shooting is set to begin August 30. Anderson has been busy helming especially creepy episodes of Fox’s FRINGE over the last two years.
